Hi everyone!
Just wanted to post something regarding the cupcake exchange so everyone can be thinking about their cupcake selection. We are having the next Good Things at Carolyn's house on Monday, June 14th at 7pm. It's a cupcake and gift exchange, so prepare your summer or 4th of July themed gift (20 dollar limit) so it can be swiped and don't forget to bring 15 homemade cupcakes ready to trade with your friends. Please remember to bring along a container to bring and take your cupcakes home in. If you'd like to share your receipe with everyone I'm sure we'd all love to have it.
15 cupcakes should give us enough to send one home with everyone (possibly Virginia, if she'll be joining us) and then we'll be able to cup some up for bites to share while we're there. Hope everyone can come... because if you don't... you'll miss out on a really GOOD THING!

I had a great time last night. Thanks for the fun craft Carey. And thank you for the goodies Nola, Suzelle and Lori. Always a good thing when we get together.
By our next meeting we will have all kiddos out of school with one high school graduate among our children and one college graduate in our ranks. And a new or almost new homeowner and two members rumored to be another year older. I'd say God is good!
From what I understood for June, we are to bring one cupcake for each member (Cheri to check on Virginia) and bring a dozen to share. Gift limit is $20 and it does not need to be patriotic. Just let me know if that changes.
See you later alligator(s). In a while crocodile(s).

A grand ol flag!
Oh my goodness! Our craft for May's meeting is SO CUTE! What can I say? It has buttons on it. In my mind, that makes it fabulous!
Join us at 7 p.m. Monday, May 12 at Chrissy's house.
You will need to bring adhesive glue dots, called ZOTS, which can be found at Michaels or Joann's. I used the medium size. I will supply all the rest of the stuff and the supply fee is $5. If Anonymous is reading this, don't fret. I have a box for you and you can pay me for it. :-)
I'll give reimbursements to those of you who prepaid (and overpaid!) last month when we were intending to do a different craft. That one didn't exactly work out but no worries, because this project is BETTER!
See?

RSVP to the blog or message me on Facebook.

Another Clock...
When Suzelle experimented with making the clocks,
I made one too...
Here's my version!
...just to share a different idea.
I added my details DAYS later,
once the modge podge was good & dry

My Embellishments:
chipboard numbers, rub-on words, stick-on crystals & inked edges

;o)
Tick Tock.........
Are you ready to make a clock ??
I have lots of paper left over from our banners (that is what I used). I'll have all of that out for you to use. You can bring your own, if you want certain colors or a certain theme. I used buttons rather than numbers. You can use stickers, shapes, stamping it, chip board somethings, rhinestones, nothing at all, etc...... That you will need to bring. FYI...the clock is a 12"x12" square.
To apply the paper, I used mod podge, which I'll have available to use, along with the sponge applicator. I did not do anything to the edges of mine. You could paint it prior to putting the paper on it or ink it after you are done. Might be fun to sand it too, for a more rustic look. I'll have some paint out if you want to use it and inks too.

The cost is $4.50 per clock, which includes the mod podge too.
FUN craft to make !!!! Can't wait to see you Wednesday night :)
