HOW MANY PICTURES FOR THE ALBUM?

I WOULD SUGGEST BRINGING 12 TO 18 PHOTOS SO YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE FORMAT. BETTER TO HAVE TOO MANY AND YOU CAN EDIT. WELCOME HOME CINDY. LOOKED FOR YOUR HAT ON THE MALL BUT DIDN'T SEE YOU :)

February Good Things is All About Love

Love is in the air. Or if it's fog it must be Fresno. Find your way to my house on Tuesday, February 3rd. come at 6:30 if you would like to shop for ornaments for our November 2009 craft. Nice assortment and reasonably priced. Then we will create a 'LOVE' photo album. The album has four letters and eight sides, so bring several different photos to play with. I have a lot of paper in pinks including solid, striped, polka dots, paisley, toile and floral. I have a few light purple/lavender shades and a few reds. Some of the pinks have orange, yellow, blue, brown and greens too. I have brads (including hearts), ribbons (red and pink) and some heart punches and heart stickers. I will supply glue sticks and I have two exacto knives. I have two very small self healing mats and two paper cutters. I also have a variety of colored pens. I will share everything I have but you may want to bring an exacto knife and a mat if you have it and double sided tape if you prefer that to the glue. Also bring any other embellishments you may want to use such as other stickers (i.e., letters, words or phrases, hearts, valentines themed, flroals, etc.,.) or ribbons. If you just have your photos I think I have everything else you would need to make an album, but as I know you are all scrapbookers, please feel free to bring whatever you would like. The fee for the album is $10.00.

And I think the button craft supplies are being brought by Carey and Cindy. Cost??? Not sure. I'll let them respond and tell us.

I will be serving a 'death by chocolate' snack and a small savory snack to control insulin levels!

I've posted the schedule to the right. I did notice a mistake, however. Cindy volunteered to host projects like this (click here), but we neglected to get it on the schedule. What were we thinking?

I just got home. I had a fun evening ladies. Thanks for hosting Nola. Can't wait to have the popcorn. But for the record, I just want to say that I did not start the slippery slope into 'naughtyville'. Cindy you started it with the sanitary product crafts. I never saw that one on Carol Duvall! You knitters are a knotty bunch!!!! Don't give up on us after one meeting Suzelle. We really aren't that crazy. Although I don't think I'll ever be able to go to the dentist again! And be saving up your spare change to help the poor women in Fresno in 'crisis' that brought Nola to tears. Well ladies start looking for pictures for your 'LOVE' album and I will get you more details soon. Good things ahead in '09!

another Good Thing!

Suzelle is a good friend of Tracy's (and Cindy and Nola) and Crafter Extraordinaire. She is an avid scrapbooker, a Girl Scout Leader, a blogger, and lots of other good things. She has two kids, Claire and John, and works part time as an aide in the first grade class at St. Anthony's.

She will be joining us at our planning meeting coming up with her calendar in hand and some new ideas for us to try. Don't worry, we told her she can't be opposed to stealing at the gift exchange, and she knows her way around a glue gun, so she'll fit in fine.
