A Lot of Love

Happy Tuesday Ladies-It was so good to see all of you. I hope that you all have a chance to finish your albums and bring them in March. I would love to see them. And thanks for the button card kit Carey. I am going to try and get mine made today. And I was so happy to see my baby ornaments be adopted into good, loving christian homes (and out of my garage :). There are still some left and will probably be here in November in case you feel the need to add to your ornament family. And Happy Valentine's to all. Hope you have a wonderful valentine's full of love and chocolate.

Ladies I would not worry about getting photos together for your album if you are pinched for time or haven't printed anything off an SD card in three years. (Carolyn.) You really could add those later. In fact that is what I am going to do because I just don't have enough of what I want and I am going to take some on Valentine's Day. Concentrate on paper and embellishments on Monday if you would like. Just a suggestions. That alone takes two hours easy.

Change of Supply List for LOVE Album

Hello Ladies

I decided to give this craft a run to work out the kinks. I found that the cuts with the exacto knife were difficult. I did better with a good pair of scissors. And it was easier to trace around the letters and then cut out the paper. So bring good scissors that have a pointed tip that are good for the detail cutting. This would eliminate the exacto and mat. Also, it takes seven to eight different paper patterns to decorate. Again, I have lots of paper just mostly pinks and some purple/lavender. If you are in a red mood you are on your own :). But I have lots of embellishments in that color family. See you in 7.

HOW MANY PICTURES FOR THE ALBUM?

I WOULD SUGGEST BRINGING 12 TO 18 PHOTOS SO YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE FORMAT. BETTER TO HAVE TOO MANY AND YOU CAN EDIT. WELCOME HOME CINDY. LOOKED FOR YOUR HAT ON THE MALL BUT DIDN'T SEE YOU :)

February Good Things is All About Love

Love is in the air. Or if it's fog it must be Fresno. Find your way to my house on Tuesday, February 3rd. come at 6:30 if you would like to shop for ornaments for our November 2009 craft. Nice assortment and reasonably priced. Then we will create a 'LOVE' photo album. The album has four letters and eight sides, so bring several different photos to play with. I have a lot of paper in pinks including solid, striped, polka dots, paisley, toile and floral. I have a few light purple/lavender shades and a few reds. Some of the pinks have orange, yellow, blue, brown and greens too. I have brads (including hearts), ribbons (red and pink) and some heart punches and heart stickers. I will supply glue sticks and I have two exacto knives. I have two very small self healing mats and two paper cutters. I also have a variety of colored pens. I will share everything I have but you may want to bring an exacto knife and a mat if you have it and double sided tape if you prefer that to the glue. Also bring any other embellishments you may want to use such as other stickers (i.e., letters, words or phrases, hearts, valentines themed, flroals, etc.,.) or ribbons. If you just have your photos I think I have everything else you would need to make an album, but as I know you are all scrapbookers, please feel free to bring whatever you would like. The fee for the album is $10.00.

And I think the button craft supplies are being brought by Carey and Cindy. Cost??? Not sure. I'll let them respond and tell us.

I will be serving a 'death by chocolate' snack and a small savory snack to control insulin levels!
